Rush University Medical Center developed its Center for Clinical Wellness based on the simple belief that advances in research leading to quality patient care are directly tied to the wellbeing and vitality of researchers, providers, students and staff. This session from the first Ragan Workplace Wellness Conference explores the innovative mitigation strategies developed to reinforce staff wellness at the teaching hospital.

Dr. Sheila Dowd, medical director of the Center for Clinical Wellness at Rush University Medical Center discusses the reasons behind the need for the center and the journey to bring the center to life.
