Last week, we ran a story of a new study by Weber Shandwick and Spencer Stuart showing that CCOs working for firms in Fortune’s “Most Admired Companies” list enjoyed closer relationships with their CEOs, longer tenures and less interference from officers in closely-allied departments than CCOs in lower-ranked companies.
