The well-being credo
A 22-point manifesto that keeps England’s Government Digital Service, Google, and lots of others grounded in empathy.
A powerful statement of well-being values has been making the rounds. It’s an image entitled “It’s OK to…” and it gained popularity earlier this year when Google CMO Lorraine Twohill shared five enduring lessons the pandemic taught her.
Among the lessons:
- Stay true to who you are
- Build from strong foundations
- Empathy, always
- Walk the talk
- Be human
She also offered the “”It’s OK to…” image as an example of what some of Google’s teams are doing. The manifesto was first published in a 2016 blog by Government Digital Service, a British government web-development resource.
It’s worth repeating here.
