1. Lessons from Georgia’s voting law fallout.
Last week, Coke, Delta and other leading Peach State titans of industry came under fire for taking a stand against Georgia’s restrictive new voting legislation—which sent GOP officials into a tizzy and resulted in calls for boycotts. Major League Baseball is also enduring calls for boycotts after a controversial decision to yank this year’s All-Star Game from Atlanta.
This week, Patagonia is taking a different tack to protest the law. As AJC reports, the outdoor apparel company is donating $1 million to support Georgia-based voting-rights groups. AJC shares:
