Ryanair CEO: £1 to use the loo

A pound to use the loo: If you’re flying with Ryanair, you might just have to pay a pound to use the bathroom. That’s what Irish airline CEO Michael O’Leary told BBC1’s Breakfast program when he said he’s considered charging passengers one pound to use on-board toilets.

“I don’t think there is anybody in history that has got on board a Ryanair aircraft with less than a pound.”

A spokesman dampened O’Leary’s comments and said, “Michael makes a lot of this stuff up as he goes along and while this has been discussed internally there are no immediate plans to introduce it.” Ah, British Airways is looking better and better.
