Rachel Gogal

Rachel Gogal serves as the director of executive communications for Atrium Health, one of the largest non-profit and leading academic health systems in the United States. In her role, Rachel is responsible for the development and execution of external, internal and strategic communications on behalf of Atrium Health’s President & CEO, Eugene “Gene” A. Woods.

Prior to arriving at Atrium Health in November 2019, Rachel served for nearly five years at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in various communication roles, including working on the executive communications teams for two consecutive university chancellors. When she’s not behind her computer writing away, Rachel can be found coaching 5- and 6-year-old soccer stars in the making, volunteering for a round of karaoke and enjoying walks with her family and friends.
