Latisha B. Gray, APR, is an award-winning marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of diverse experience in corporate, education, and government PR sectors. She is currently the Director of Communications for the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), which represents all 537 of Georgia’s cities. Prior to joining GMA, Gray served as a leader in school public relations for Minneapolis Public Schools, Robbinsdale Area Schools, and Atlanta Public Schools (APS). During her seven years at APS, Gray helped to rebuild the reputation and brand of this storied school district that faced an international cheating scandal. She has extensive expertise in strategic communications, internal communications and employee engagement, crisis management, and launching effective marketing campaigns. Gray holds an APR accreditation, Prosci change management certification and is a passionate Gallup-certified strengths coach. She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications (MSIMC) from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Winthrop University.
