Jayli Barkley

Jayli Barkley serves as an information specialist working in the Communications Division for the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. She joined in 2018, following more than 10 years of experience in the private and nonprofit sectors. Initially serving as a Victim Services Supervisor, she provided support to staff assisting victims and witnesses of crime throughout the criminal justice process. In 2021, she transitioned to her current role, where she navigates the realms of public service, law enforcement and working within an elected office by acting as the organization's facilitator for community engagement, public relations, cultural involvement and social media efforts. She places a premium on employee customer service through successful internal communication and employee advocacy—with the goal of engaging staff to amplify the office’s mission while generating innovative and cutting-edge content that fosters pride among their nearly 800 employees and that also resonates with the 2.5 million community members the office serves.
