Prestigious brands not profiting from Facebook

A recent report discovers the world’s 100 most prestigious companies aren’t making money through Facebook.

Are the world’s most prestigious brands snubbing Facebook?

In an All Facebook article, Jackie Cohen writes, “Facebook accounts for one out of every eight minutes spent online, yet none of the 100 most prestigious brands engage in commerce on the leading social network.”

Cohen’s numbers come from a report published by L2 and Buddy Media that measured the 100 most prestigious brands’ social media usage. While many brands are active on Facebook, they are not making money through their pages.
