Integrating print and online—with a capital ‘I’
So a communicator walks into a new job in November and he’s promptly told he has a year to build a new portal for a 4,500-employee hospital and transition the monthly publication to a quarterly publication while keeping the new portal current with news articles. No joke. This happened to Michael Keating, senior editor for internal communications at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston.
