Nike wants America to move more. In order to combat physical inactivity in the U.S., Nike partnered with Weber Shandwick to promote a report on physical inactivity in a way that the public could easily digest. They decided to create two infographics to bring the report to life and snagged a 2013 PR Daily Award for Best Infographic in the process.

The report delivers “a unifying vision of future generations running, jumping, and kicking to reach their greatest potential.” To spread the word about this vision and share statistics from the report, Nike began by distributing printed versions of the infographics to high-profile policymakers and influencers at both the Clinton Global Initiative and the Mashable Social Good Summit. Nike also distributed “activity kits” that contained the complete body of research.

The infographics focus on “the problem” and “opportunities/solutions” and are, accordingly, titled “The World Has Stopped Moving” and “We Are Designed to Move.”
