Amid tumultuous times, roundtable lets participants share expertise
COVID-19, race relations, financial crises—it’s more necessary than ever that organizations address these crucial issues. But how? A new roundtable allows communicators to trade tactics and best practices.
Amid COVID-19 shutdowns, race-related protests and economic turmoil, communicators often feel pressed to respond quickly.
What’s missing, for most, is a collegium of experts: a wide range of fellow communicators willing to sound out ideas, critique messages and help navigate stormy waters.
In response, Ragan Communications is launching Ragan’s Communicators Roundtable, a virtual forum for sharing the latest groundbreaking tactics, insights and business solutions for midlevel communications professionals.
Rather than sit at the feet of experts, communicators can grab a colleague and have a conversation at a time when conferences and business travel are impossible. Participants can brainstorm messages and gather ideas on whether that CEO letter about the latest crisis rings true or sounds tone-death.
“The Communicators Roundtable is for smart and curious communicators who understand the unique value of peer-to-peer feedback and idea-sharing, especially during this time of imposed isolation,” says Diane Schwartz, CEO of Ragan Communications. “The role of the communicator is changing profoundly and there’s nothing better than exchanging strategies and tactics from colleagues at trusted brands.”
