The best advice communicators, PR pros ever got (or offered)
Crisis communicators, internal communicators, PR pros, and social media experts share the words of wisdom that have stuck with them.
Samuel Taylor Coleridge said advice is like snow.
“The softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper in sinks into the mind,” he observed.
For those of us lucky enough to have gotten good advice in our lives and professional careers, there is often one piece of wisdom that sinks so deeply into the mind that it stays there forever and affects our decisions.
Considering that the best advice is the kind you share, we asked a handful of internal communicators, PR professionals, crisis communicators, and social media experts to offer up the best advice they ever received. What they had to offer might just sink deep into your mind, too.
The advice: “Happen to things. Don’t let things happen to you.”
