What it takes to practice inclusive leadership comms
There’s more to it than might appear on the surface.
When you’re in a leadership position, you’ll do well to consider the tone of how your messaging comes across. That much is clearly apparent, but in today’s diverse modern workplace, leadership communication needs to reflect the rich tapestry of employees we have before us. In many instances, a one-size-fits-all message just isn’t going to cut it.
As communicators, it’s your duty to perfect the message for our audiences. As a leader, this means evaluating the words you use and actions you take to create the dynamic, inclusive workplace that makes prospective employees want to join and current employees want to stay.
Inclusive messaging nurtures inclusive culture
