Why you should chronicle this year’s many challenges
Get everyone sharing stories about how they are surviving the COVID-19 crisis, and package the resulting stories so you can look back later.
Jim Ylisela with Ragan Consulting Group says communicators will want to be able to look back on these challenging days. What lessons will be learned? What small triumphs will get lost in the noise?
He suggests a “Story Project” where communicators chronicle the extraordinary events of 2020. “It’s already been seven months, and we are already starting to forget stuff,” he says.
The good news is that this likely isn’t a new project but rather a strategic approach to how current stories are housed and repackaged.
