Study: 42 percent of marketers in social media ‘infancy’
Companies are dabbling in social media, but only 16 percent have fully integrated it into their marketing strategy.

Just because companies have a social media profile doesn’t mean they’re using it as part of a strategy. Case in point:
Appropriately, technology, telecom and media companies are far ahead of other companies in terms of social media integration. A quarter have integrated it into their marketing plans.
