30 jobs in the PR and marketing world
Scores of music lovers will flock to Chicago this weekend for Lollapalooza, and you could intern for the organization behind the festival, if you land this week’s featured position.
The Windy City will be rocking this weekend.
Lollapalooza kicks off this Thursday at Chicago’s Grant Park and continues through the weekend.
The four-day festival features 174 bands and performers, as well as other entertainment on the grounds. Since its inaugural festival in 1991, the event has become one of the premier musical festivals in the country.
In addition to bringing big-name performers to the stage, festival organizers are doing their part to make the world a better place. The Lolla Cares program features a slew of organizations that champion worthwhile causes, such as GoodKids MadCity, Hope for the Day, PAWS Chicago and The Obama Foundation.
Along with enjoying live music, festival attendees can sample food and beverages from local vendors, including Beat Kitchen, Cheesie’s Pub & Grub, Dark Matter Coffee, Lou Malnati’s, Smoke Daddy and more.
The Strokes, Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande and Tame Impala are among this year’s eight headliners.
